Drs. Jeremiah and Kristin Joseph Family Chiropractic is devoted to offering the best form of wellness healthcare available to Englewood, North Port, Venice, Port Charlotte and surrounding areas. Dr.'s Jeremiah and Kristin Joseph always look for the most natural approach to taking care of you and your family's health. While many professions are concerned with changing the environment to suit the weakened body, our office is concerned with strengthening the body to suit the environment. We look for and most often times discover the root CAUSE of the problem. We do not treat symptoms...but the cause of what ails you. Our office provides a warm and comforting family atmosphere where our team does all they can to make you feel right at home. Our team and doctors provide education to all patients on each visit about their health and how to achieve optimal wellness. Our goal is to optimize your body's own God given potential to heal and keep itself healthy and well without the use of drugs or surgery. Dr. Jeremiah Joseph has multiple degrees in addition to his diplomate in neurolgy. Dr. Kristin Joseph, along with having multiple degrees, has also obtained a fellowship in pediatrics. Our practice members (patients) ages range from infant to 100 years old. Pregnant women also frequent our office! Dr.’s Jeremiah and Kristin have always had a passion for facilitating optimal health through natural noninvasive healthcare that emphasizes illness prevention. They have pursued chiropractic to restore health and increase the quality of life of their community.

Dr.’s Kristin and Jeremiah genuinely care for each and every patient that they come in contact with in their life. They love to see their patients freed from pains and limitations that have held them back, and they strive to educate them so that they may stay healthy and live a full life thru regular chiropractic care. They truly love practicing Chiropractic and love to educate their patients about true Chiropractic and to understand that getting their spine checked regularly is monumental if health is a priority.

Dr.Jeremiah moved to the Englewood area at the age of 12 from Kingston, New York. He was introduced to chiropractic at an early age and had such amazing results that he decided early on to pursue chiropractic as his profession. He received his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree in 2003 from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Jeremiah uses his strong biological science background from Stetson University to encourage natural methods of achieving and maintaining overall health and wellness to his patients.

Dr. Jeremiah is a board certified Chiropractic Neurologist since taking the exam in February 2006. As a board certified Chiropractic Neurologist, Dr. Jeremiah Joseph takes pride in teaching patients how chiropractic relates to brain and nerve function. Dr. Jeremiah also dedicates his time to the chiropractic profession by sitting on the state boards for the Florida Chiropractic Society.

Dr. Kristin moved to South Daytona Beach from Syracuse, New York at the age of 4. She went on to receive her Bachelor of Science from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville. She then went on to attend Logan College of Chiropractic in which she received her Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2003.

Dr. Kristin has spent over 120 hours in post-graduate courses to educate her further on the care of pregnant women and pediatric patients. Dr. Kristin understands that pregnancy is an important time in a woman's life, to say the least, and the need for a fully functioning body is crucial to her and her developing baby's health, as well as a labor and delivery with no complications. In fact, Dr. Kristin is a Fellow of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (FICPA) and is also certified in the Webster’s In-Uterine Restraint Technique, a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment that is specifically for pregnant women with a breech presentation

Dr.’s Kristin and Jeremiah are committed to helping families in their community experience improved health and vitality. They speak regularly to local churches, businesses and organizations on health, wellness, and safety topics. They also speak regularly on the radio as guest speakers and have their own radio show "The Kingdom to Health" on the local WENG station. Their mission is to empower and radically transform the lives of as many people as possible to experience optimal health potential through chiropractic care so that they may lead healthier and more energetic lives.

The adjusting techniques used by the Doctors are modified to fit each patient; from the sleeping newborn, the squirmy toddler, on-the- go teenagers and parents, and for the loving grandparents. Dr.’s Jeremiah and Kristin care for each of their patients as they do their own family, who you will see in the office regularly getting their "Power Turned On". By combining specific chiropractic adjusting techniques with fundamental health information, Dr.’s Jeremiah and Kristin are able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.

Introducing Dr. Andrew Smith

Dr. Andrew Smith Dr. Andrew grew up in a christian family in a small town in west-central Illinois. During high school, he participated in many sports, including: swimming, football, baseball, cross country, and track. He was an all-state athlete in swimming and track and became very interested in health from a young age.

This interest in health led him to pursue a degree in Kinesiology at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. While attending college, he was involved in the Marching Illini where he played the snare drum in the drumline. Many hours of rehearsal with heavy drums soon led to back pain. For this problem, Dr. Andrew first sought the help of a trusted Medical Doctor. However, his back pain persisted and he soon sought the help of a local chiropractor. This doctor taught him about wellness and how to get out of pain; and remain that way.

After this experience, Dr. Andrew became more interested with the cause of disease and the body's amazing ability to heal itself. He soon made the decision to pursue a career in Chiropractic, after receiving his undergraduate degree. For his Chiropractic education, Dr. Andrew chose to attend Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri. He is board certified in Physiotherapy and a former personal trainer. Also, he completed an internship with Veteran's Affairs Hospital in St. Louis and was able to help many injured veterans without the use of drugs or surgery.

Dr. Andrew is excited to be working with the team and Joseph Family Chiropractic to provide everyone who enters the clinic with the care and help that they need.

Jessica Grennell

Jessica Hi! My name is Jessica Grennell. I come from a large family of 9 kids (2 brothers and 6 sisters). Coming from a big family helps me appreciate the small things in life, such as how valuable time spent with family and friends is. My family and I grew up in church, and I personally have come to know the Lord and have a relationship with Him. God and my family are the two most important things in my life.

The third most important thing to me is Chiropractic! I’m a Chiropractic Assistant here at Joseph Family Chiropractic, and am working to further my education by attending classes to become a Certified Chiropractic Physicians Assistant. I am fortunate to be able to say that I love my job! It is an exciting, motivating and encouraging place to work. The Doctors and my other co-workers are constantly doing everything to uplift and encourage me, and I for them. We are a team that works together to help make our office the best for you! My goal is to one day see all the residents of Englewood and the surrounding areas under "The Right" Chiropractic Care.

Hi, I’m Barbara Smith, Community Outreach Program Coordinator for Joseph Family Chiropractic. My background is business and marketing, but my passion is meeting and helping people. Having moved from Bristol, CT, I’ve lived in the Englewood area for almost 14 years with my husband, teenage son and pre-school aged daughter. By playing an active role in my son’s sporting events and our many work-related events, I’ve had the pleasure to meet many wonderful people in this community. I hope to meet you soon!
